Yara + Davina seek wisdom and practical advice from the public as they ask “How do we fix something that is broken?”
Using the duo’s trademark playfulness and accessibility, this open ended question, installed on a window of the Libertine Pub in Bankside, invites people to reflect on what it means to be broken and how we can fix it. Read within the context of pre-Brexit Britain, the question alludes to the political, welcoming the practical and the philosophical.
The public can submit answers through social media #howdowefix and directly in the pub, with answers changing daily.
While the artists have no way of knowing what the public will say, they imagine superglue will be in there somewhere.
